It is recognized that people with disability, their family and carers often face challenges when trying to connect with the local community and make friends with those sharing similar interests and lifestyles. It might be especially complex for those from CALD communities, as they often encounter additionally cultural and linguistic barriers whilst attempting to socialise with others. As such, CASS Social Group provides the opportunity to people with disability from CALD background, who would like to expand their network and have meaningful and entertaining time.
In our social group, a series of engaging and creative programs is arranged for the people with disability, whilst the carers are enjoying supportive and informative sessions.
