Celebrated Mid-Autumn Festival

30th September 2016
Our participants celebrated the Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon or lantern festival, marking the end of harvest and the fullest Moon of the year. They learnt how to make lanterns out of colourful paper to take home or decorate the centre. All enjoyed our mooncake tea party, everyone shared those traditional tasty treats and had a fun day. The mooncakes were kindly donated to us by Consulate-General Of The People’s Republic Of China In Sydney.
